32Red Says Mobile Adoption IncreasingOn Wednesday, online casino company 32Red announced their detection of a spike in mobile casino gaming.

With revenues soaring, the firm has retained its full-year expectations after gross gaming revenues rose in its first-half and the number of mobile users almost doubled.

The European company confirmed that its total gross gaming revenues rose 19% in the first half of this year.

In a news release shared with mGamingWatch, 32Red explained that its first-half performance reflects the continued “excellent trading at the Company’s flagship operation, the 32Red Casino, which continues to be the Company’s main focus and has benefited from increased marketing expenditure in the first half of the year.”

Mobile usage jumped during the period, with 32% of total casino gross gaming revenues now coming from mobile devices, almost doubling from 17% for the comparable period in 2013, the statement reads.

With an eye toward the next six months, 32Red says the strength of its first-half performance has allowed it to commit further resources to “strategic marketing” for the remainder of 2014.
