888 Holdings Submits a Formal Bid For Bwin.PartyBwin.Party is the result of a 2011 merger between Bwin Interactive Entertainment and PartyGaming. The outcome was an online powerhouse offering sports betting, online poker, and a variety of online casino games.

In November 2014, Bwin.Party shared that they were in “preliminary discussions with a number of interested parties regarding a variety of potential business combinations.”

This bid came in with 59% of 888 Holding’s shareholders voting in favor of the proposed takeover.
