AGA's Geoff Freeman One of 2015's 'Top Lobbyists'The president and CEO of the American Gaming Association can add yet another title to his name — one of the top lobbyists of 2015.

In recent days, the American Gaming Association’s chief, Geoff Freeman, was named one of the top association lobbyists of 2015 by Washington, DC newspaper The Hill.

“With Nevada’s prominent spot in the 2016 election, Freeman is putting his members front and center,” the AGA said in a news release, citing some of the organization’s efforts throughout the course of 2015.

Earlier this year, the AGA launched its first-ever “Gaming Votes” initiative, which is educating candidates about the industry and informing gaming employees about the candidates as they visit key early-vote and battleground states – which also happen to be casino states.

The AGA says that casino gaming supports more than half-a-million jobs and contributes $75 billion to local communities in “key presidential states.”
