Atlantic City Looks to Keep Brick and Mortar Casinos Alive by Adding Online Gambling OptionWith a drastic decline in attendance and revenue at their brick and mortar casinos, Atlantic City had to do something to keep the remaining doors open. Currently, only eight physical casinos remain in Atlantic City.

So Resorts Casino Hotel is taking the lead on expanding to online gambling.

How does online gambling help a brick and mortar casino exactly? A patron would need to physically visit the Atlantic City casino in order to gamble. Once you’ve played in the actual casino, can then continue your gambling experience from your hotel room or the privacy of your own home.

Employees have been trained to educate patrons on how to utilize the online gambling program. Online Casino Reports clarifies that: “The Internet lounge will provide various innovative amenities, with Resorts employees assisting players with the setup of their online accounts and their personal laptops and mobile devices. Funds will be deposited in the online format through an online kiosk acting as a cashier which then transfers deposited funds into the player’s Resort gambling account.”

Another interesting development the casinos are focusing on is that you will not have to deal with a third party wallet system. Any winnings go directly to a special account at the casinos, and you can then access it from home.
