Betfair to Stick Around New Jersey?

According to the news out of New Jersey this week, Betfair is staying put — for now — in the Garden State.

“GameAccount is eying a 2015 mobile casino launch with an ‘undisclosed US casino operator’ that plans to launch its mobile casino in the first quarter of 2015,” PokerUpdate reports.

We’re told that the forthcoming product will be HTML5 games and cross-platform gambling apps.

“On-property Mobile Casino gaming is the natural evolution of Internet-based gaming for US casino operators,” says Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GameAccount Network. “We are delighted to have been chosen as the provider of On-property Mobile Gaming for a major US casino and will seek to deliver this innovative solution for the Operator as soon as possible in 2015.”

If it happens, chances are it will involve Betfair.
