According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, one of the PR industry’s leading publications is paying tribute to Caesars Entertainment Corp. Executive Vice President Jan Jones Blackhurst.
Blackhurst is being named the “CSR Professional of the Year.”
The honor goes to Blackhurst for leading the company’s efforts in “diversity, social and environmental responsibility, and philanthropy.”
Typically, this award goes to industry leaders who take charge on corporate and social responsibility efforts on behalf of their organizations.
Of course, Blackhurst is no stranger to leadership. Prior to joining Caesars, she was mayor of Las Vegas for two terms.
