Yes, I just quoted a Frozen song so “Let it go.”
All joking aside, with New Jersey having legalized online gambling, Caesars is adding a new marketing campaign this month. Adweek explains that, “As the weather gets chillier, Caesars Casino wants to let New Jersey residents know they don’t have to leave their homes to try their luck: They can play online.”
When I say play online, I also don’t mean a handful of games either. According to the report in question, players “can play more than 120 games on the casino’s website.”

One day in the not too distant future — if federal and state governments comply — you may be able to place a bet from your smartphone from almost anywhere in the United States.
According to Valuewalk.com, “Online gaming is still just 8.9% of the global gambling industry by revenue, generating $40 billion of the $451 billion total in 2013, but that’s still a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25% between 2000 and 2013.”
Gabelli analyst, Camillo Schmidt-Chiari, says that he expects online gambling, “to slow to 5.7% through 2017, which is still better than the global gambling industry’s projected 4.3%, but this average misses the big opportunity presented by mobile gaming.”

“Android was the primary driver with its vendor partners shipping a total of 255.3 million Android-based smartphones in 2Q14, up 33.3% year over year,” the report summary reads.

Of course, as an experienced mobile marketing or digital advertising pro will tell you, gaming operators and casinos have much to gain by going mobile in other capacities even if real money mobile gambling isn’t yet a business option.
It’s a strategy understood well by the team at Rivers Casino, which recently teamed up in Pennsylvania with JOINGO, a mobile technology company.
