Digital Marketing for Online Gambling is Growing in New JerseyDigital marketing is being capitalized on aggressively in freshly regulated markets where online and mobile gambling is now permissible by law.

In particular, the state of New Jersey is seeing tremendous growth in the number of online gambling accounts created, which have topped 150,000 since late November.

And the use of digital marketing is helping to drive this reality.

“The Borgata stands out among Atlantic City properties when it comes to the amount of homepage real estate devoted to online gambling products,” says Chris Grove of Online Poker Report, drawing attention to the fact that a “full half of the page is committed to featuring Borgata’s online casino and the Borgata online poker room.”

But not all casinos in the Garden State are using the digital resources at their command to enthusiastically push online gambling.

“Caesars and Harrah’s both use the same basic website template,” Grove adds. “Neither makes any discernible mention of online gambling anywhere on the page, above the fold or below. Online gambling is not present in the menu, the extended homepage content or even on the section of the site devoted to casino play.”

The Tropicana, however, puts online gambling front and center on their webpage and has consistently used the power of digital marketing to expose residents of New Jersey to its new online gaming platforms.
