As highlighted earlier this month by RedOrbit, the latest industry projections call for a massive increase in the number of mobile gamblers worldwide.
Citing data from Juniper, the numbers look impressive.
By 2018, 164 million people “will either place a bet, visit a mobile casino or buy a lottery ticket on their device.”
In addition to online casino platforms becoming available in newly-regulated markets such as Nevada and New Jersey, the possibility of new ways to play and interact will create more users. Juniper Research notes that playing mobile casino games with players across the world will be one of the features that enhances player experience to drive further gambling activity.
