Locaid has been named as the only carrier location provider to receive official preliminary approval by the New Jersey Department of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) to enter into agreements with casino licensees and iGaming permit holders.
Locaid is the world’s largest Location-as-a-Service (LaaS) company.
Locaid sources location data directly from Tier 1 and Tier 2 wireless carriers and provides geolocation data to every commercial iGaming application accepting real-money wagers in the United States today.
According to details shared with mGamingWatch on Wednesday, thanks to Locaid, New Jersey casinos, iGaming brands and platforms can access mobile location data from AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Rogers, Sprint, TELUS, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon and Virgin Mobile.
Locaid says it has “the largest footprint of North America mobile subscribers with over 98% reach.”
