New Partnership Aimed at Boosting the Success of Regulated Online GamblingWith casino marketing increasingly becoming a cross over phenomenon in both the worlds of online and physical gambling, new partnerships are being forged across the gaming landscape that illustrate this burgeoning trend.

Poker Night in America has just partnered with 888poker in what amounts to a unique sponsorship agreement. The target audience will be online gamblers in the US who enjoy watching televised gambling.

The All-American Poker Network (AAPN) is known for its success with marketing gaming, leaving high hopes for this to translate well into the world of online gambling too. The presence of televised marketing of online gambling brings with it both increased cross-platform marketing opportunities and also speaks to the wants and needs of the growing televised gaming audience.

While some may prefer live gaming, or online only gaming, the audience for both is continually on the rise. Many live gamers are yet to understand the full scope of online gambling that they have access to and all of the perks of gambling online.

Since AAPN already has a huge audience base, and 888poker is a premier provider of online poker, the partnership seems to be a match made in heaven. Currently 888poker hosts around 2,000 cash games daily, which leaves them second only to PokerStars.

The first televised broadcast aired on June 29th, and an additional 25 are set to air on CBS Sports Network on Sunday evenings. If this proves to be a success, it is sure to beget more.
