Online Gambling Firm Looking for a Bwin of its OwnGVC Holdings Plc, an online gambling company, knows exactly what it wants — a Bwin of its own.

According to a report from Reuters, the company is now engaged in acquisition talks with more than a few companies. So which will GVC spring for? According to chief exec Kenneth Alexander, the company wants “something like” its competitor Bwin.party.

GVC is looking at transactions that could transform the company “the same way Sportingbet did in 2013”, Alexander told Reuters on Monday. GVC, which is listed on London’s AIM, acquired Sportingbet’s operations in 24 countries for around 31 million pounds.

As it turned out, GVC was wise to spring for Sportingbet, which makes a variety of sporting and casino games for online and mobile players. The report notes that Sportingbet now brings in more than half of GVC’s revenue.

For now, details are sparse and rumors are rampant. But news of a done deal could come soon for GVC as they look to take online and mobile gaming to the next level.
