According to details shared with mGamingWatch, the event is co-hosted by Mobile Game Entrepreneur Alliance (MGEA), the People’s Government of Siming District in Xiamen and Howell International Trade Fair Ltd., and supported by the Technology and Digital Publication Division of China’s State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, Xiamen Municipal Government and related government authorities.

Under the theme of “Industrial Influence, Diversified Drives”, MGAS will review the development trends, hot issues and phenomena of the mobile game industry in 2015, and predict new trends of mobile game, virtual reality (VR) and E-sports business in 2016.

Google Play Warming Up to Sports Gambling Apps“On the eve of the NFL season, Google’s app store quietly approved two daily fantasy apps in what appears to be a reversal of its longstanding ban on apps that enable gambling,” notes a story just out by Kif Leswing of Fortune.

According to the report, a lot of money will be wagered on NFL contests this year via daily fantasy apps, especially offerings from DraftKings and FanDuel.

“In daily fantasy, users bet on individual players by selecting a hypothetical lineup of players, and collect a cash prize if their team ends up with the best statistics,” explains Leswing. “These picks and wagers can be done through a web browser or, increasingly, on mobile apps.”
