While online gambling continues to be a hot topic of conversation, there is another method of gambling that is growing at a particularly rapid rate. And that’s mobile gambling.
A recent report by Technavio estimates that global mobile gambling will grow at a compounded annual growth (CAG) rate of more than 43% between 2015 and 2019.
In order to generate these estimates, they included multiple forms of gambling—such as traditional physical betting, lottery, and gaming. They also gathered information from some of the industry leaders, including Camelot, Betfair, and Bwin.Party.
One of the largest areas of growth in mobile gambling in the UK is likely to be with women.
With mobile gaming becoming a daily activity, making the move to mobile gambling is far more comfortable. In fact, 68% of women in the UK prefer mobile gambling to online gambling at their PC.
