Over the weekend, the American Gaming Association announced that Andrew Ortale — an experienced tradeshow, meetings and conventions executive — is joining the AGA.
In his capacity, Ortale will serve as the AGA’s vice president of industry services.
Ortale will oversee the evolution of AGA’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) portfolio of events and develop new programs for the $240 billion U.S. casino gaming industry.
“Andrew’s addition to the AGA team demonstrates our commitment to enhancing G2E and other AGA events,” says Geoff Freeman, AGA president and CEO. “Facilitating meaningful business transactions, providing top-notch content and creating opportunities to strengthen relationships through face-to-face meetings are critical skills that Andrew will leverage for AGA.”
“AGA is undergoing dynamic change and expansion,” Ortale stated in the AGA’s news release. “I am eager to strengthen the value of AGA membership and G2E participation to drive innovation and make the world’s leading gaming trade show even stronger.”
