In a recent announcement, Betfair revealed that they have created a new Senior Management position, Chief Marketing Officer. The position will be occupied by Johnny Devitt. Devitt was formerly the Direct of Online Marketing at Betfair, but now finds himself in this Senior Management position.
The goal of the new position, SBC News reports, is to place both online marketing and online branding under the same branch of leadership. This position will be a new addition to the London office.
Devitt has been with Betfair since September of 2014, coming off of his position as Head of Marketing, Data and Acquisition from Paddy Power. Devitt spent 6 years at Paddy Power, making him an igaming veteran. His specialties include social media and display marketing.
