Bitcoin Makes a Splash at SXSWOn Sunday, leading Bitcoin mining company CloudHashing arrived at SXSW with the stated goal of showing how easy it is to earn Bitcoins through their pioneering service.

This week, representatives for CloudHashing.com will have a booth at the convention and will be available to answer questions regarding bitcoins.

“South by Southwest is a perfect fit for CloudHashing.com,” said Emmanuel Abiodun, the company’s CEO. “It’s a large gathering of diverse, intelligent and creative people on the cutting edge of emerging technology, arts and entertainment. Where else can you find Bitcoin mining, Lady Gaga and Chelsea Clinton at the same venue?”

In recent months, CloudHashing.com has worked overtime to make its emerging company and brand more sexy and appealing to the mainstream. In January, international recording artist and former Spice Girl Mel B partnered with CloudHashing.com to become the first artist to accept Bitcoin for her music.

Since then, the company’s executives have even been keynote speakers around the world.

“Too often people are intimidated by Bitcoin because they feel it will be too hard to understand, but I have found that if it’s explained in the right way, people understand it immediately and are intrigued by it. And that’s what we want to do at the conference,” insists Benjamin Gorlick, CloudHashing.com’s chief operating officer. “My advice is to look for our booth or one of us walking around and just come say hi. We would love to speak with you.”
