On Monday at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, EMTEC showed off the Play Cube Steam Box and Play Cube GEM Box (Gaming Entertainment Multimedia), a pair of new home video game systems.
Whether for traditional video games, online poker, or any digital gaming activity imaginable, the systems in question are reportedly designed to bring games and media to the living room.
The Play Cube Steam Box is a powerful-yet-compact PC gaming system, while the Play Cube GEM Box features streaming games and multimedia entertainment.
EMTEC will be demonstrating these items at the 2015 CES show floor today.
“There’s a wide range of high quality video game entertainment available today, but for many consumers, purchasing a dedicated gaming PC or console is either too expensive or too restrictive,” said Nathalie Lamri, Marketing and Communication Director at EMTEC. “With the Play Cube line, the whole family can easily enjoy everything from casual puzzles to immersive role-playing adventures in any room of the house, compatible with their existing library of PC and Android games.”
