What Hospitality and Gaming Companies Can Learn from CES 2015mGamingWatch is gearing up to cover next month’s presentation of CES 2016 in Las Vegas. And although countless major announces and interesting revelations await, some aspects of the show aren’t difficult to predict.

The International Consumer Electronics Show has grown to become the largest consumer technology trade event in the world. And with the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show rapidly approaching, so too is the CES Innovation Awards ceremony.

As our friends at VRJournal recently explained, the program is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products.

On-site, event organizers tell us, attendees can view the honorees at Tech West in the Innovation Awards Showcase.

For the 2016 showcase, a broad array of categories will be recognized, including Virtual Reality, Smart Home, Software, and Wearable Technologies.

The 2016 CES will be held January 6th-9th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Developments in virtual and augmented reality have made significant strides to allow us to engage in a 360-degree gaming experience, explore the inside of foreign landmarks, treat phobias, better train medical professionals, virtually attend an event and much more,” said Karen Chupka senior vice president of corporate business strategy and CES, CEA. “The Gaming & Virtual Reality Marketplace at CES 2016 will showcase all of these immersive innovations that are advancing this futuristic industry.”
