As MGW has previously reported, news of casinos and companies offering online gaming in Atlantic City will become more commonplace as New Jersey gets closer to putting their new bill into place.
Tilman Fertitta, who made news in the last few months for purchasing a casino with the expectation of turning it into a Golden Nugget near Houston, Texas, is making news once again, but this time in terms of online gambling.
According to the Houston Press, Golden Nugget will offer online gambling in both New Jersey and Nevada.
The Golden Nugget casino is pleased to announce it will partner with Bally Technologies to offer online and mobile real-money wagering this fall. The Golden Nugget will operate iGaming in both Nevada and New Jersey under the brands GoldenNuggetPoker.com and GoldenNuggetCasino.com, with the intent of offering online gaming to more states as they regulate.
“We believe that iGaming is a future multi-billion dollar market in the U.S. and we want to play a major role in it,” Fertitta said. “To demonstrate our long-term commitment to online gaming, we have hired a seasoned veteran with vast knowledge of this evolving industry and the Golden Nugget brand.”
