Marketing is a 'Ssnapp' at Borgata Hotel Casino and SpaSMG recently announced a “strategic marketing agreement” with one of the country’s leading casino-resort destinations, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

According to details shared with mGamingWatch, SMG will deploy their branded social engagement network for the property’s new entertainment venue called Festival Park, which opens June 13th.

The 4,500-seat outdoor entertainment venue will be host to headliners such as The Killers, Meghan Trainor, Darius Rucker and Counting Crows.

SMG is going to proceed with a “customized version of its technology platform, ssnapp, which engages social media users and potential customers by going beyond traditional ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ –allowing Borgata to connect with their most loyal fans and concert-goers in new and unique ways.”

We’re told that ssnapp’s social engagement network is particularly proficient at helping companies to engage and activate customers using their own, business-defined currency with the goal of turning customers and prospects into loyal, long-term brand advocates.

“Our signature brand of entertainment has been a major reason why we’ve been the market leader in Atlantic City for 12 years, and we’re looking forward to continuing to raise the bar with the debut of Festival Park,” says Joe Lupo, Senior Vice President for Borgata. “With the addition of a 4,500-seat concert venue, we have the opportunity to increase our social media engagement and attract more customers to the property than ever before.
