According to the news shared with mGamingWatch on Tuesday morning, history is being made in Nevada this summer.
Per the big news out today, this is the first time ever that state residents and tourists can wager on the world’s largest race and sports events in a single mobile application.
Over the past month, Boyd Gaming’s B Connected Sports & Race app — powered by Miomni Gaming — has allowed Boyd Gaming customers to bet on everything from the Triple Crown to the Euro 2016 soccer tournament.
“We are thrilled to provide the first mobile sports wagering app in Nevada to include pari-mutuel horse betting,” said Miomni Gaming CEO Mike Venner. “Miomni’s technology will help introduce the sport of horse racing to an entire new generation of fans.”
Any adult with a smart phone and a Boyd Gaming race account can now wager daily on races from the biggest tracks in the U.S., from anywhere in the state of Nevada. New customers can sign up for a race account at seven Boyd Gaming sports books across the Las Vegas Valley – the Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Sam’s Town, California, Fremont and Main Street Station — and after downloading the free app to their iOS or Android device, they can start wagering immediately.
