Sports betting, typically associated with horse racing, has now spread to soccer; referred to football in the UK and other parts of the world. Football, considered the UK’s national sport, often has many gambling ads at half-time and before televised games promoting “in play” betting.
With the internet available at our fingertips virtually at any point in time on smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices, it has all but made the trip to the bookmakers obsolete. It also provides a platform on which online casino games can run.
