According to a press release from the gaming giant confirming the new appointment, Joseph Intili has been named Senior Vice President of Casino Marketing for Gaming Operations of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
Seminole Tribe operates the largest gaming enterprise in Florida and one of the top gaming entities in the country.
In this position, Intili will be responsible for marketing programs to attract casino guests at the Seminole Hard Rock Casinos in Tampa and Hollywood, Florida, as well as the five Seminole Tribe casinos around Florida.
Intili now reports to Larry Mullin, Seminole Gaming COO.
In his new position, [Intili] plans to grow the overall Seminole casino market by attracting more high-end casino players from a wider geographic area, including the northeast U.S. and select international markets. He is also working to develop new private gaming venues at the casinos.
Intili comes to Seminole Gaming from the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., where he served as vice president of relationship marketing and was responsible for launching and maintaining brand standards.
Prior to that, Intili worked in casino marketing at the Venetian, Las Vegas.
