On Wednesday, mGamingWatch learned that Florida-based Seminole Gaming is the best evidence yet that when you bet on your employees, everyone wins.
The hotel and casino company recently received honors for its innovative, mobile-focused approach to internal communications.
Seminole Gaming took home the Best Use of Technology Award, given during the 2016 Employee Engagement Summit in Chicago.
“We’re excited to be recognized for using technology to build a culture of open and authentic, two-way communication,” said Seminole Gaming internal communications manager Lance Thomas, who accepted the award on the company’s behalf. “Our team members are the most significant part of our company’s success, and we’ve learned that having a mobile channel to communicate keeps them informed and engaged.”
According to a company news release summarizing the award win, the mobile channel — and the cornerstone of Seminole Gaming’s employee communications strategy — is Red e App, an internal communications platform specifically designed for the non-desk and hourly workforce.
