SNG Interactive Cleared for Online Operations in New JerseyIn the words of Bruce Willis from the original Die Hard: “Welcome to the party, pal!”

On Wednesday, mGamingWatch learned that SNG Interactive — Sportech’s joint venture with NYX Gaming Group Limited — has received a “transactional waiver” for iGaming operations in New Jersey.

As of this writing, New Jersey is still just one of only three states (the other two are Nevada and Delaware) that has legal and regulated online gambling markets.

“This certification confirms that SNG is compliant with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement,” a news release from SNG reads. “As a result, SNG is provisionally permitted to offer real money gaming online to customers, accessing the online system physically from within the state of New Jersey.”

SNG says it will provide a new online gaming platform to its first customer, the Atlantic City-based Resorts Casino Hotel, which will launch at the end of the month.

Rich Roberts, President of Digital US for Sportech, says that this is a “key moment in the development of SNG Interactive and we are delighted to secure the transactional waiver.”
