In recent months, William Hill has been in a phase of expansion as the company extended its wagering business into Nevada, the only state in the U.S. to permit sports betting.

In August, Hill announced its plan to purchase Australian online wagering company, TomWaterhouse.com for upwards of $110 million.

The deal is contingent upon business performance until the end of 2015.
