Zynga Ready to Mount its ComebackZynga is attempting to pick itself back up by the bootstraps and retrace its steps back to previous glories.

“Financially, the company is in pretty bad shape,” Blackjackchamp reports. “Stock prices have dropped almost 80% since 2012, when they peaked at $14.”

Not to worry just yet, however.  Zynga has made some new upgrades in hopes of saving their company. Zynga, for example has introduced a revamped poker app, which is available for iOS and Android.

As Blackjackchamp tells us, “The new free-to-play Zynga Poker app was built from the ground up, focusing mainly on personalized gameplay and improved performance. The design is also more sophisticated, offering players the real casino feel instead of a cartoon-style experience, and this is certainly one of the first changes users will notice in the popular game.”

Not only has Zynga come out with this Poker game, but they have also released a football game for sports fans. Zynga has titled the game NFL Showdown.

“The game is the first addition to the company’s multi-game franchise – Zynga Sports 365, and if the National Football League and NFL Players Inc. close a licensing agreement, the game could include real NFL teams and athletes,” the report adds. “In NFL Showdown users get to build their dream team and compete for in-game boosts. The next step is participating in the Daily Showdown tournaments, and then teams can fight to win the monthly Super Bowl.”

So will either of these games allow one to bet real money? Not yet. Zynga poker is “still a social game with no real money betting involved.” “It looks like the game developer is still not prepared to enter the world of real-money gambling.”
