As mGamingWatch reported earlier this month, the state of New Jersey recently awarded the first official online gambling permit to Atlantic City’s Borgata.
Keeping the technological evolution of its business rolling along, Borgata has taken another step toward the cutting-edge resources available in today’s market.
PDS, a provider of human resource, benefits, recruiting, payroll, and time and attendance software, confirms that Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa has “placed its bets” on the Vista HRMS solution to manage its approximately 5,600 employees.
All told, the resort will deploy PDS’ HR, Benefits, Payroll, Self-Service, and Workflow solution on-premise with the goal to continually scale the system and integrate other solutions as its demands grow.
Borgata is switching its strategy from a large ERP system to what they refer to as a solid, slimmer platform with Vista HRMS. They note three key reasons for selecting Vista HRMS: PDS’ high quality level support and local presence, the fact that Vista is a tried and true system and because it is offered as an on-premise system.
“As Borgata’s workforce management needs continue to expand as they grow, Vista can scale with them and provide them with the ability to easily plug in external systems to further streamline their processes,” explained George Brady, vice president at PDS. “We look forward to implementing Vista and partnering with the team at Borgata to address their HR, benefits and payroll related challenges.”
