Casino Mogul Steve Wynn Sets Sights On New Jersey Online Gambling MarketSeven months ago, Steve Wynn, one of the casino industry’s biggest players, labeled Atlantic City as “the enemy.”  According to pressofAtlanticCity, Wynn has since had a change of heart and appears eager to jump into the emerging online gambling market in New Jersey.

Online gambling in Atlantic City goes live November 26, and Wynn Interactive LLC is one of the companies hoping to grab a piece of the pie.

Dozens of companies have applied for online gambling licenses with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.  The division will name those companies once they are approved and added to the list of active vendors.  However, several internet gambling companies have already announced partnerships with Atlantic City casinos.

At this point, further information regarding Wynn Interactive’s plans for New Jersey isn’t available.

Spokesperson for the Division of Gaming Enforcement, Lisa Spengler, said Wynn Interactive’s application for a casino license would not be released to the public and is considered confidential.

Per Wynn Interactive’s request, the Division of Gaming Enforcement is also keeping the organizational structure of the company private.  According to a posting on the division’s website, the request includes the organizational chart and executive salaries of parent company Wynn Resorts.
