Chris Moorman Surpasses 10 Million In Tournament WinningsOnline poker player Chris Moorman has broken $10 million mark for tournament winnings.  Over the weekend, Moorman won a $215 buy-in tournament for $9500 that helped him reach the milestone.

In addition to being the first poker player in history to make the claim to $10 million, worldwide he has been ranked #1 in online poker nearly 20 times.   In September, Moorman achieved the #1 online player rank in the United Kingdom.

He is the only player with over $7 million in winnings putting him at the top by far.

Moorman posted on the PocketFives.com forum:

“Thanks for all the support and kind messages along the way, it feels great to finally get there. The last $50k felt so hard. Now it’s time to get to work on the next 10 million tomorrow.”

According to Pokerfuse.com, Moorman seems compelled to pursue the next milestone since he still is far behind Phil Ivey whom has won more than $19 million from cash games.
