IGT Inks Deal with Delaware State LotterymGamingWatch learned Monday that IGT, a global technology firm with a deeply-entrenched presence across the gaming landscape – has secured a deal to continue the provision of more than 3,500 Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) to the state of Delaware.

For Delaware, one of only three states where online and mobile gambling is legal, these deals underscore the growing business opportunities emerging in markets where heightened focus on gaming is now found.

“The great content and highly recognizable titles create a fun, exciting play experience for our players,” said Jim Loque, Delaware State Lottery Deputy Director. “The collaboration and reliability that we have experienced during our partnership with IGT was the driving factor in the State of Delaware’s recommitment to the company for the next half decade.”

We’re told the contract includes terms of 5 years, with provisions in place that allow for an extension of terms for up to 11 years.

“As we continue our leadership in creating the industry’s most fun and exciting VLT games, it is with great pride that we continue to grow our great relationship with the State of Delaware,” said Tim Shortall, an executive with IGT.
