Jackpot Digital Inc. has just announced that its license application has recently been approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

The license from AGCO recognizes the Company as an officially registered Gaming Supplier under the Gaming Control Act of the Province of Ontario.

“This positive development fully enables Jackpot to grow its electronic table game (ETG) business at OLG Slots at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, which is currently operating several of the Company’s ETGs on its casino floor,” a provided release notes.

Understandably, the company’s President & CEO Jake Kalpakian is please.

“This is a very significant milestone for the Company from several standpoints,” says Kalpakian. “AGCO has a very rigorous licensing process and it bodes well that we were able to meet their stringent threshold. Also, our approved licence will allow the Company to grow its current ETG business with OLG Slots at Woodbine Racetrack. Furthermore, it will allow the Company to pursue additional business and licensing opportunities for the Company’s products in other casinos and racinos located throughout the Province of Ontario. We are also going to aggressively expand our licencing footprint so you can expect to hear more in the near future about the Company’s licencing activity in other jurisdictions.”
