Halloween is all about treats and no tricks for online gamblers in Delaware. On Thursday, Delaware officially became the first state to launch whats’ being called “a full suite of Internet gambling.”

The online poker industry is heating up in Nevada. With just two online poker rooms presently open statewide, there will be a new entrant to this flourishing young market in the new year. The Siena Hotel Spa in Reno will formally launch its own real money online poker room early in 2014.

The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority of North Carolina has ambitious plans for the US Northeast. But taking no chances, the organization says, it’s backing all bets with the “power of SAS,” a leader in business analytics software and services.

India is fast-becoming a major market for online poker. And more than a few companies are leading the charge for its mammoth growth. One of the companies deeply entrenched in the Indian online poker market is Adda52.com, which is India’s first online poker room.

The green light has been given and all paths have now been cleared for takeoff. Starting this week, Delaware lottery officials are ushering in their state’s era of real-money Internet gambling. But, as the AP reported Tuesday, they are doing so with an element of secrecy.
