Player Verify Wants Online Gambling to be Safer in New JerseyAnother day, another headline for the state of New Jersey. And as the clock counts down to November 26th – the official start of online gambling in the Garden State – the news cycle is bound to intensify.

The latest newsmaker in New Jersey is Player Verify, a “secure online hub for the I-gaming community.”

Uploading and sharing sensitive documents across multiple Internet gaming sites has always been an exercise in risk, the company says. Now, Player Verify is “taking risk out of the equation” with its secure document storage and transmission service.

After a successful rollout in Nevada, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has given the green light to Player Verify to conduct business with the newly launched Internet gaming industry in the Garden State.

“With the approval of online poker and other I-gaming ventures in New Jersey, the market will soon be flush with sites eager to cash in on this new opportunity,” says Mark Dalton, managing member of Player Verify.

“Our player authentication services are ready to provide an invaluable safeguard against the threat of identity theft,” Dalton adds. “By entrusting sensitive scanned documents, such as drivers’ licenses, passports and proof of address, to a third party that specializes in security, gamers can instead focus on their play.”
