Yesterday, OnlineCasino.org reported that online poker fans in Canada and around the world where legal can enter into a PokerStars tournament whose prize pool grows each day. The special Freeroll tournament will be held September 15. More people that enter, the greater the prize that will be at stake.
All registered PokerStars players are eligible to compete in the tournament. Each participant must deposit a minimum of $10 into their accounts using promotional code ‘TWITTERWCOOP’. The entry of this code reserves a seat for the player at the tournament held on September 15.
PokerStars has started the tournament pool at $5,000 and is expected to grow $500 per day. Players will be requested to visit the PokerStars Twitter page where they will be tasked with a number of challenges. For each daily challenge that is completed, $500 will be added to the pool by PokerStars.
The Freeroll tournament coincides with the World Championship of Online Poker, which runs September 8 through the 29th. The Championship will award $40 million in cash prizes.
