New Jersey, it goes without saying, remains one of just three states that regulates online gambling in the US. In the Garden State, however, mobile gambling is growing particularly fast on iOS. For the gaming companies that have cultivated their presence on iOS, this investment continues to pay off.

One of the many advantages to online and mobile sports betting is that gamers can quickly and easily place their bets from anywhere with Internet access—even when on the go.

With the addition of legalized online gambling in Nevada came the dream of finding a way to link online and live gambling in a way that would increase revenues like never before. During the most recent World Series of Poker (WSOP) at Rio, online poker broke the $1 million dollar mark for the month of June, Las Vegas Review Journal confirms.

Although legalized online gambling has already arrived in the U.S., efforts to reinstate the ban are still going strong. Some of those most vocal about their opposition are prominent lawmakers, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah).

When a handful of U.S. states legalized online gambling in 2013, online poker was the leader of the pack when it came to overall revenue. While online poker is still the game of choice for many online gamblers, it has seen a rapid decline throughout the first seven full months of 2014.
