Is There a Mobile Casino Monopoly in New JerseyAlthough three states have now legalized and regulated online gambling within their borders, New Jersey still seems to claim the lionshare of attention when it comes to the expansion and impact of this young industry.

But with the growth of a new field often comes a lone dominant player. And that seems to be what’s taking place in The Garden State as we speak.

Today, The NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement reported that the licensed online gambling sites in the state raked in $8.4 million in revenue during the first six weeks of authorized public game play.

One casino in particular, however, owns close to half of all online gambling revenue in New Jersey. Of the cash generated, Borgata alone claimed a staggering $3,750,174, while The Golden Nugget claimed only $177,653.
