In a recent announcement, Penn National Gaming shared details of their new partnership with Scientific Games. This partnership will include launching the SG Universe product suite at four Penn properties. This move will mark Penn’s introduction into the world of social gaming via Scientific Game’s Play4Fun Network.
Since many social games are played on mobile devices, Penn will also utilize Scientific Games Mobile Concierge marketing suite.
The two new online products will be rolled out over the next few months, starting first at Penn’s Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races. By the end of summer, it is expected that gaming will be available via iOS and android as well.
Chris Sheffield, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of I-Gamming for Penn National Gaming shared that their goal is to “enhance loyalty and retention of our customers, drive casino visitation and build engagement with our brands both on and off premises.”
