Social Sports Gaming Comes to FacebookAtlantis Internet Group (ATIG) recently confirmed that it has entered the social gaming market by partnering with WikiBetting.

As a result, ATIG will operate the Sportbook Exchange, an application on Facebook.

Players can buy “Facebook chips” and wager on any sporting event in the world.

This social gaming application is now available on the Tribal Gaming Network, a multi-vendor gaming platform with the federal approval to offer legal Intranet Gaming in Indian casinos in 28 States within the United States.

“The Sportsbook Exchange gives players in Indian casinos in 28 States the feeling of betting on live sportsbook,” said Donald L. Bailey, CEO of ATIG.

Players use real cash to purchase Facebook chips, but instead of cashing out for money, players accumulate Facebook chips for on-line entertainment and are eligible to receive non transferable casino comps (based on time, not winning and losing) from the sponsoring Tribal Casino while “sharpening their sportsbook betting skills.”
