World Series Of Poker Readies Real-Money Online Gambling SiteThe World Series Of Poker is just about ready to launch its real-money online gambling site.

According to freshly reported details by The Province, WSOP.com will be the second site to offer online poker in Nevada when it goes live Thursday.

Station Casinos in partnership with Ultimate Poker launched Ultimate Gaming back in April to become the first online poker offering in the state.

Only those physically located within Nevada state lines will be eligible to participate in the online games.  Participants must be at least 21 years old and will have their age verified through Caesars Interactive Entertainment.

Caesars Interactive Entertainment chief executive officer said about the deal: “This is a historic moment for our company.  We will bridge land-based and online gaming in ways that have never been seen before.”

Garber explained that combining the well-established and long-standing World Series of Poker brand with Caesars would attract “today’s technologically savvy consumers.”

WSOP.com will give its players an exclusive opportunity to win seats at the real World Series of Poker.

Geoffrey Stewart, WSOP.com general manager of online poker said: “This opens up a whole new category for the WSOP brand, enabling us to connect with consumers year-round and reach them where they are most today — on digital devices.”

Games will include limit and no-limit hold’em, with full table and short-handed games, plus Omaha hi-lo and seven-card stud.

“This news, along with the 15 million hands Ultimate Poker has dealt since April 30th, is a clear indication of the strong market for regulated online poker,” says co-founder and chairman of Ultimate Gaming, Tom Breitling.
