The state of New Jersey has suffered its first monthly revenue decline in online gambling since real-money gaming activity was regulated within the state and formally launched last fall. “New Jersey’s fledgling Internet gambling industry saw its first monthly decline, falling slightly to $11.4 million in April,” The Chron reports.

When it comes to legalized online gambling, only three states have hopped aboard—Delaware, Nevada, and New Jersey. Many other states, however, are weighing the pros and cons of implementing online gambling, and California and Pennsylvania are expected to be the next to dive in.

Former pro wrestling boss and WWE, WCW, and TNA veteran Eric Bischoff’s company is expanding into social gaming. MX Digital, a US-based developer and distributor of worldwide branded-online-gambling games, has signed a deal with Traffic Generation (Traffgen) to bring waged games to the social casino space.

In a move that stunned many across the online gambling community last night, the American Gaming Association (AGA) effectively pulled the plug on its support for online gambling. At least, for now.

Chris Grove of the Online Poker Report says Winning Poker Network (WPN) is “suspending the ability of customers” in the three U.S. states where online and mobile gambling is regulated and permissible (New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware) to play for real money at WPN.
